Visit Farmer In the Dell Pumpkin Patch

Located in Auburn, Alabama, The Farmer in the Dell started in 2005 when the Farmer’s industrious children decided to grow tomatoes to pay for college. Sweet corn, pumpkins, peaches and, finally, strawberries were added until the farm grew into the Agri-tourism hot spot it is today. The Farmer in the Dell family invites all to “Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind!” Psalm 66:5 You can find us by visiting the location on our contact page! 
The Pumpkin Patch

Pick your very own pumpkins off the vine! We’ve got options of all varying sizes and colors. Come find your favorite.

Hay Bale Play Area

The Hay Bale Play Area has tons of fun, outdoors activities for children to learn form an enjoy.

Hay Rides

Come hitch a ride on the hay ride and see some of the sites around the pumpkin patch including the livestock, the patch itself, and more!

Crop Maze

Work your way through our crop maze and see if you can beat your own time getting out! Must be 6 or older to participate without adult assistance.

We are a You-Pick pumpkin patch. Come pick your favorite pumpkin right off the vine!

Reservations are not necessary for small groups and Admission is $5 per person 2 years of age and older (under 2 get in FREE) to get into the farm, and includes:

  • a hayride
  • entrance into the flower field and pumpkin patch
  • playtime with farm animals
  • entrance to our crop maze
  • access to play area

Pumpkins vary by price and are priced by the pound with a $3 minimum. For more info on pricing contact us below.

On Saturdays, we have concessions and are now serving ice cream!

We accept all major credit cards, cash, and check.

We’re not just a pumpkin patch!

We went on Saturday and at first weren't sure what to think. It is a very rustic pumpkin patch compared to others. It quickly won is over. The staff are VERY welcoming. My daughter (6) loved the baby animals and going through a real pumpkin patch to find her pumpkin. The corn maze was fun as well. We will definitely visit several times this fall.

This is a really great place for the family! I wanted to take my 4 year old to a fall festivity, but many available are horror-based events. He absolutely LOVED the pumpkin patch and had SO much fun exploring, playing, and picking the pumpkins and sunflowers! The staff are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and fun! I definitely recommend this to others looking for a fun event for all ages!
